Overview
Prep Clock ("the app") is built to respect your privacy. We do not sell your personal data. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and what choices you have.
Data Stored on Your Device
All events, routines, and settings you create are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you use iCloud backup (controlled entirely by your iPhone settings).
Location Data
If you use the commute calculator feature, the app requests access to your device location. Location data is used solely to calculate travel time to your destination via Apple Maps. It is:
- Never stored beyond the current session
- Never shared with third parties
- Never transmitted to our servers
You can revoke location access at any time in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Prep Clock.
Calendar Access
Pro subscribers can sync events from Apple Calendar. Calendar data is read-only and is used only to display events within the app. It is never uploaded, stored externally, or shared.
You can revoke calendar access at any time in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars.
Notifications
The app may send local notifications to remind you when to start getting ready. These are generated entirely on-device. No notification content is sent to external servers.
Subscriptions & Purchases
Prep Clock Pro subscriptions are managed by Apple's App Store. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple — we never see or store your payment information.
RevenueCat is used to verify subscription status. RevenueCat may collect an anonymized app user ID for this purpose. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.
Analytics & Crash Reporting
The app does not use any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. No behavioral or usage data is collected or transmitted.
Children's Privacy
Prep Clock is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
