Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using WellCalc ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

WellCalc is a petroleum engineering calculator application for iOS that provides a suite of industry-standard calculations for drilling, production, completions, and reservoir engineering. All calculations are performed locally on your device.

Disclaimer — For Reference & Educational Purposes Only

WellCalc is intended for reference and educational purposes only. The calculations provided by this App are not a substitute for professional engineering judgment, independent verification, or licensed engineering services.

• All calculation results should be independently verified before being used in any operational, safety-critical, or engineering decision.
• The App does not replace the need for a qualified petroleum engineer or other licensed professional.
• Users assume all risk and responsibility for any decisions made based on calculations from this App.
• The developer makes no representations regarding the suitability of these calculations for any specific well, field, or operational condition.

No Warranty on Accuracy

While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the formulas and calculations in WellCalc, the developer does not warrant that:

• Calculations are free from errors or inaccuracies.
• Results are suitable for any particular purpose or application.
• The App will produce results consistent with all industry standards or regulatory requirements.

Engineering calculations involve assumptions, approximations, and simplifications that may not apply to every scenario. Users should always exercise independent professional judgment.

Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

• Free Tier: WellCalc provides basic calculators for free.
• WellCalc Pro: Premium calculators and features are available via subscription (monthly or yearly).
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Management: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• Refunds: All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be directed to Apple per their refund policy.

User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for verifying all calculation results before relying on them.
• You must not use the App as the sole basis for any safety-critical engineering decision.
• You are responsible for ensuring that calculations are appropriate for your specific application and conditions.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by Nonconformity LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that calculations will be accurate in all circumstances.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nonconformity LLC and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages resulting from reliance on any calculation results provided by the App.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nonconformity LLC and its developer from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or reliance on its calculations.

Apple's Standard EULA

Use of the App is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
