Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CalibQR ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

CalibQR is a calibration and tool-control tracking application for iOS. It allows you to register assets (tools, instruments, equipment), log calibration events, scan QR codes for instant status lookup, receive calibration due-date reminders, and export professional audit binder PDFs. All data processing occurs locally on your device.

Disclaimer — For Tracking Purposes Only

CalibQR is a record-keeping and tracking tool only. It does not perform calibrations, certify instruments, or replace qualified calibration services.

• CalibQR does not verify the accuracy or validity of calibration data you enter.
• The App does not replace the need for accredited calibration laboratories or qualified technicians.
• Users are responsible for ensuring all calibration records are accurate and comply with applicable standards (e.g., ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ANSI/NCSL Z540).
• PDF audit binders generated by the App are formatted reports of data you entered — they are not calibration certificates.

No Warranty on Compliance

While CalibQR is designed to help you organize calibration records, the developer does not warrant that:

• Using the App satisfies any regulatory, accreditation, or contractual calibration requirements.
• Generated reports meet the specific formatting or content requirements of any auditing body.
• Reminder notifications will be delivered with guaranteed timing or reliability.

Users should always verify that their calibration management practices meet applicable industry standards independently.

Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

• Free Tier: CalibQR allows you to track up to 10 assets with basic calibration reminders for free.
• CalibQR Pro: Unlimited assets, audit binder PDF export, and priority notifications are available via subscription.
• Pro Monthly: $9.99/month, auto-renewable.
• Pro Annual: $79.99/year, auto-renewable (save 33%).
• Free Trial: Both plans include a 2-week free trial. If you cancel during the trial, you will not be charged.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Management: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• Refunds: All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be directed to Apple per their refund policy.

User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all data you enter into the App.
• You are responsible for backing up your data (via iCloud or PDF exports) to prevent data loss.
• You must not rely solely on the App for regulatory compliance or audit readiness without independent verification.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including design, code, icons, and branding — are owned by Nonconformity LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific compliance requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nonconformity LLC and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages resulting from missed calibration deadlines, failed audits, or inaccurate data entry.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nonconformity LLC and its developer from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or your reliance on data managed within it.

Apple's Standard EULA

Use of the App is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
